Thank you Cathy and Russell for the great Christmas picture with Rocky
(F1b cafe' from Leala's last litter).

Give me a call if you would like to add one of these wonderful companions to your household. They are registered with The Continental Kennel Club. These pups are very fun, easy to train, great with kids and other animals and not nearly as distructive as young Labs. Housebreaking seems to come naturally to them. I have had very good luck placing my Poodle Crosses in homes with Allergies.

Labradoodle (Standard poodle/Labrador Retriever)- An awesome Poodle cross that are low to non shedding. They are Hypoallergenic, depending on coat, so they are great for people with allergies or someone that just doesn't want to clean up alot of dog hair. They are so calm and easy to train, my customers are pleasantly surprised how easy they blend into their families.

Description of generation designators:
F1's are first generations, the result of a Lab bred to a Standard Poodle. Results depend on the parents chosen. F1b's are backcrosses, a Labradoodle bred to a Standard Poodle. They are 3/4 poodle and 1/4 Lab, which enhances the hypoallergenic quality. I have a very large percentage of hypoallergenic F1's as well. F2's are second generations, an F1 Labradoodle bred to a F1 Labradoodle. This allows you to pick choice dogs to breed together in order to get desired results, ie coat etc, again results depend on dogs chosen. In my experience, F2 litters vary a bit more than F1's or F1b's in coat(some pups will not get as desirable a coat as others). I typically breed choice Labs and poodles for F1's, and F1b's, and F1's to F1b's, for more consistancy. In the case of F1's bred to F1b's I am using the term multigen.

A cross between a Standard Poodle and a Labrador Retriever- One of the hottest breeds to hit America in recent years. This breed was started in Australia as seeing eye dogs for allergy sufferers. They have become sought after for companions due to their wonderful nature and intelligence.

Everyone's allergies are different and if you are allergic to dog saliva I'm afraid a poodle cross will not help. I believe that crossing purebreds reduces the health problems that riddle many purebred dogs therefore prolonging life and reducing Vet bills.
